Hello & Welcome to Jumping Beans.

Jumping Beans Pre-School Ltd originated in 2005 in the village of Bean, before opening another branch in January 2007 in Greenhithe Community Centre which was opened by the then Mayor of Dartford. Since then, Jumping Bean Greenhithe has expanded in the number of children, staff and resources on offer both indoors and outside. We are incredibly grateful for the assistance of the Greenhithe Community Centre Committee especially past member Angie Ward who helped the Pre-School during their time on the Committee.

Since 2007 Jumping Beans Greenhithe have maintained a rating of ‘Good’ from Ofsted and have received positive feedback from parents, carers and professionals who come to visit.

I am the Owner/Manager at JB Greenhithe, with a BA (hons) in Early Years Education which relates to a Level 6 in childcare qualifications. I have been working in Early Years since 2000 and have progressed through training levels 2 and 3 before embarking and completing my level 6. I have also undertaken the roles of SENCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead during my time along with many other professional qualifications.

The Staff here at Jumping Beans are all qualified level 3 and above (as of September 2020.) All have First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications that are consistently reviewed and undertaken during the official time periods. The staff are all experienced and some have been with the pre-school for over ten years and have constantly updated their knowledge to meet the needs of the children attending. We have a very experienced Special Educational Need Co-ordinator Lead, a professional Designated Safeguarding Lead, and a very experienced First Aid Lead. All of whom are backed up by other trained staff.

Our intent is to ensure every child’s individual learning is in a safe, secure, and fun environment. We follow the Governments Legal Framework ‘The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework’ and ‘Development Matters’.
